Mengu-han taqqa otyrghan kezde, Berke músylman bolyp túryp bylay dedi: «Senimi joq adamdardyng biyligi ayaqtaldy; taqqa otyrghan kez kelgen senimi joq (yaghny músylman emes) hannyng biyligi úzaq bolmaydy. Berke payzeni Ál-Baherziyge jiberdi; payzeni alghan Ál-Baherzy Berkehan jibergen kisiden «búl ne?» dep súrady, «búl sheyhty jәne sheyhtyn qolynda qalaghan kisini saqtau ýshin qyzmet etedi, kimde bolsa, sony saqtaydy». Sonda Ál-Baherzy bylay degen eken: «payzeni esekke baylap qoyyndar, sodan song esekti dalagha jiberinder, eger payze esekti ólimnen, qasqyrlardan saqtasa, onda qabyl alamyn, al eger saqtamasa, onyng keregi de joq» dep syilyqty aludan bas tartqan. Elshi oralghan son, Berkege sheyhtyng aitqan sózin qaytalap berdi. Sonda Berkening aitqany: «onda men sheyhqa ózim baramyn» depti. Ol Búharagha at basyn tirep, sheyh qaqpasynyng aldynda ýsh kýn túrady, sebebi sheyh ózining izbasarlarynyng bireui ózimen sóilemegenshe Berkege kiruge rúqsat etpegen.
